Day 1: Arrive in Ulaanbaatar
You will be greeted by your guide and driver and be transfered to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure!! Overnight in Ulaanbaatar.Day 2: Ulaanbaatar / Middle Gobi [L,D]
Early morning, begin your journey to Baga Gazriin Chuluu, a unique formation of rocks. Visit the ruins of an ancient temple and explore the area. A picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight stay in a Ger Camp.Day 3: Middle Gobi / Tsagaan Suvarga [B,L,D]
After breakfast, visit the ruins of Sum Khukh Burd Temple. Continue driving to Tsagaan Suvarga a fascinating white lime stone cliff which resembles a Stupa. A picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight stay in a Ger Camp.Day 4: South Gobi / Yol Valley [B,L,D]
Drive further South and arrive at the Three Beauties of the Gobi National Park. Spend the day on an excursion to Yol Valley for hiking and enjoying stunning photographic opportunities. Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay in a Ger Camp.Day 5: Khongor Sand Dunes [B,L,D]
After breakfast drive to Khongor Sand Dunes known as Singing Dunes. A climb up to the sand dunes will be rewarded with a breathtaking view. In the evening observe a spectacular sunset, please prepare your cameras. Lunch, dinner, and overnight in a Ger Camp.Day 6: South Gobi / Bayanzag [B,L,D]
Drive to the world famous Flaming Cliffs or Bayanzag (Saxaul Tree Forest of the Gobi). Explore the site of the first paleontologist findings in Mongolia by following in the footsteps of Roy Chapman Andrews. Visit a nomadic camel breeding family and experience hospitality of Mongolian nomads. Enjoy a short camel ride. Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay in a Ger Camp.Day 7: South Gobi / Ongi Monastery [B,L,D]
After breakfast drive to north. Visit the ruins of once great Ongi Monastery, visit local restored temple and have a walk in the surrounding area. Dinner and overnight in a Ger Camp.Day 8: Karakorum, Erdene-Zuu Monastery [B,L,D]
After breakfast, drive to Karakorum, the XIII Century capital of the Great Mongol Empire. Visit Erdene-Zuu Monastery, which was the first and largest monastery in Mongolia. Tour the monastery and visit several temples with excellent examples Buddhist Thangka paintings dating back from the 16th century. Visit the Karakorum museum. Dinner and overnight stay in a Ger Camp.Day 9: Ulaanbaatar [B,L]
After breakfast, drive back to Ulaanbaatar. A picnic lunch. Overnight stay in a hotel.Day 10: Departure [B]
In the morning transfer to the airport or train station for your international departure.
