Day 1: Arrive in Ulaanbaatar
You will be greeted by your guide and driver. Transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight in Ulaanbaatar.
Day 2: Terelj National Park [L,D]
After breakfast, drive to Terelj National Park, 80 km northeast of Ulaanbaatar. Spend the day touring the area and enjoying the magnificent alpine scenery. There are great opportunities for hiking, rock climbing and horse riding. You can visit a nomad family, explore their unique lifestyle, and experience horseback riding. Return to the hotel.
Day 3 : Ulaanbaatar / Middle Gobi [L,D]
Early morning, begin your journey to Baga Gazriin Chuluu, a unique formation of rocks. Visit ruins of an ancient temple and explore the area. We will have a picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight in a Ger Camp.
Day 4: Tsagaan Suvarga [B,L,D]
After breakfast visit ruins of Sum Khukh Burd Temple. Continue driving to Tsagaan Suvarga, a fascinating white lime stone cliff which resembles a Stupa. We will have a picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight stay in a Ger Camp.
Day 5: South Gobi / Yol Valley [B,L,D]
Drive further South. Arrive at the Three Beauties of the Gobi National Park. Spend the day on an excursion to Yol Valley hiking and enjoying stunning photographic opportunities. Lunch, dinner and overnight stay in a Ger Camp.
Day 6: Khongor Sand Dunes [B,L,D]
After breakfast, drive to Khongor Sand Dunes known as the Singing Dunes. A climb up to the sand dunes will be rewarded with a breathtaking view. In the evening observe a spectacular sunset, please prepare your cameras. Lunch, dinner and overnight in a Ger Camp.
Day 7: South Gobi / Bayanzag [B,L,D]
Drive to the world famous Flaming Cliffs or Bayanzag (Saxaul Tree Forest of the Gobi). Explore the site of the first paleontologist discoveries in Mongolia by following in the footsteps of Roy Chapman Andrews. Visit a nomadic camel breeding family and experience hospitality of Mongolian nomads. Enjoy a short camel ride. Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay in a Ger Camp.
Day 8: South Gobi / Ongi Monastery [B,L,D]
After breakfast, drive to North. Visit the ruins of once great Ongi Monastery, visit local restored temple and have a walk in the surrounding area. Dinner and overnight stay in a Ger Camp.
Day 9: Karakorum, Erdene-Zuu Monastery [B,L,D]
After breakfast, drive to Karakorum, the XIII Century capital of the Great Mongol Empire. Visit Erdene-Zuu Monastery, which was the first and largest monastery in Mongolia. Tour the monastery and visit several temples with excellent examples of Buddhist Thangka painting dating back from the XVI Century. Visit the Karakorum museum. Dinner and overnight stay in a Ger Camp.
Day 10 : Tsenkher Hot Spring [B,L,D]
Drive to the Tsenkher hot spring. Spend the day relaxing in natural spa and walking in the surrounding forest. Please do not forget to pack your swimsuit for this day. Optional massage and beauty services are available. Enjoy the spa again, after dinner. Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay in a Ger Camp.
Day 11: Lake Ugii [B,L,D]
Drive to Lake Ugii in Arkhangai Province. The camp is located on the shore of Lake Ugii. A magnificent view and countless water birds will be at your doorsteps. Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay in a Ger Camp.
Day 12: Hustain Nuruu National Park [B,L,D]
After breakfast drive to Hustain Nuruu National Park. Drive deep into the National Park to search for Przewalski Horses (takhi), grandfather of all horses in the world. If you have binoculars, please bring them. View a short documentary and visit the museum. Overnight stay in a Ger Camp.
Day 13: Hustain Nuruu National Park / Ulaanbaatar [B]
Breakfast at the camp, then drive to Ulaanbaatar and transfer to your hotel.
Day 14: Ulaanbaatar [B]
All day free at your leisure!!
Day 15: Ulaanbaatar / Departure [B]
After breakfast at the hotel, we will transfer you to the railway station or airport for your international departure.
