Coronavirus Travel Update
Dear Flo Tours Traveler,
We are monitoring the Coronavirus situation closely with the safety and security of our guests and staff always our top priority. Flo Tours has protocols in place, including preventative measures, to prioritize the safety of our guests in all parts of the world. Our Tour Managers are taking additional precautionary measures and remaining vigilant at all times. For more information about the Coronavirus including tips on prevention, please visit the U.S. Center for Disease Control’s website. Additionally, certain countries have issued travel restrictions for people traveling from or through countries other than China which have experienced an outbreak of the virus. Click here for the air travel industry’s current list which is subject to frequent updates.
The list of international travel destinations that your may can safely travel to is ever-changing, so all outbound passengers should check with the U.S. Embassy or Canadian Government and their preferred airline before finalizing travel plans.
We share our travelers concerns about upcoming travel. As such, we have created revised cancellation and rebooking policies for travellers with departure dates until the end of June 2020. You now have the flexibility to rebook when you can look forward to your trip without fear for your health and safety. Other than airline assessed fees, you may apply the full value of what you have paid toward future travel. Airline fees are based on your specific ticket, and typically range between $300 per person and fully non-refundable. When you rebook, we will also work with your airline to attempt to reduce or remove these fees. While not guaranteed, if successful we will apply this value to your travel credit.
• Reserve new services within 18 months
• Credit may be applied towards one or more new bookings
• Unused credit has no cash value and is non-transferrable to other travelers
Please note, if the group size for your departure drops to 4 or less passengers, we can not operate the trip and the sole remedy of the non-cancelling passengers will be a travel credit for future travel as explained above.
Travel insurance policies typically do not consider an event of this nature as a covered event. However, you may wish to contact your insurance carrier to verify coverage details.
Please contact us via e-mail – sorry, we cannot make the change over the phone – if you want to postpone your trip in exchange of a travel credit latest by 3/20/2020.
